Raised midwestern in downtown Detroit, Claire is covering all things business in the Sangamon area. Before moving to Springfield, she worked at KTUL in Tulsa, Oklahoma and The State News in Lansing, Michigan.
When not in the newsroom, Claire is trying to engage herself in the city she's calling home. Her favorite regional dishes are Indian and Middle Eastern - even though she really can't handle the spice.
